Because I no longer have to practice law! Courtesy of Overlawyered.com, here’s a class action suit against Seattle’s municipal water company. The plaintiffs won, which means that the taxpayers will pay themselves a refund out of their own taxes. Oh, minus a wee bit of cash diverted to the lawyers who brought the suit, naturally.
The attorneys who fought the city on the hydrants will get $4.2 million plus interest charges.

I don’t know if I agree with you — going from lawyer to realtor is sort of like going from car salesman to local news reporter. 6 of 1, half dozen of the other.
