This won’t make the neighbors happy

8 sherwood

8 Sherwood Farm

8 Sherwood Farm Lane – built new in 2006, listed for $5.8 million in 2007, sold Friday for $3.8 million. That’s above its assessment of $3.2 butĀ still cold comfort to everyone else in that development who paid $6 million forĀ his own home. Oops.

  • sloppy work behind these walls

I walked around this house as it went up. there was a neighboring house going up at the same time (this had perfection in contrast). this one you picture has ROUGH workmanship all over, plywork not abutting, subcontractors messing up fellow contractor moldings, even knocking out a window bringing supplies upstairs. Luckily or unfortunately, the sheetrock hides many imperfections in this beauty. Is it 3 plus million based on location cause not quality materials in this one.

  • Not sure why anyone in their right mind would still build the Dairy Queen frame look. It is so ugly and unflattering. Compare this ugly duclkling of a house to Bella Nonna’s in Cos Cob (formerly a Dairy Queen)…..the basic shape is the same. Ugh, what a stupid idea.

  • Has the Weaver Street and the “Glenville Area” locale put a damper on house prices in that development area?
