Olga Kogan, last heard from when she withdrew her application to build a replica of Orly Airport at 18 Simmons Lane is back before zoning again, this time with a modest proposal to replace a swimming pool, re-do a driveway entrance and remove a few walls. Uh huh.

Am amazed that Third World types would want to be in a sleepy, insular suburb like Greenwich
Manhattan, BevHills, London, Paris, Geneva make far more sense
Hell, many young Manhattan hedgies hate notion of moving to Greenwich even after they realize they can afford neither 15 CPW nor a dump w/NYC income taxes….

@ anon 10:43 p.m.: some of us actually choose to pay extra for “sleepy & insular.”

The Russians should find another place in which to build their tacky dream house. I can’t imagine they will be welcomed here, especially after all the contentiousness with the project. But maybe I’m wrong and after Olga flings down the cash for the hospital and the Historical society and the Boys and Girls Club, the darlings of Greenwich society will flock to her parties – but I don’t think so.
