27 Leeward Lane in Riverside, waterviews (if you crane your neck), sold today for $4 million. This was a nice house but limited, perhaps, by the decision to renovate the existing house, which wasn’t that great, rather than starting anew. But the final result was beautiful – there was nothing wrong with this house, which lingered for some months in a hot Riverside market, except for its original price of $4.875. Once that was addressed, it sold.
11 Bayside Terrace, also in Riverside, had no such problem. Priced at $1.065, it sold almost instantly for $1.075. Probably a teardown but it could certainly be brought forward from 1954 to today and you’d have a nice house.
