The market just continues to surprise (me)

Bidding war for 79 Laddins Rock Road, Old Greenwich. Priced at $895,000, it’s now under contract at an undisclosed number. Laddins is a busy thoroughfare, but at least this house backs up to Rosa Hartman park, a decent sized woodland that stretches across the Stamford/Greenwich border. Granny Leatrice Joy shot a film in its environs back in 1915 or so, and in 1963ish, Chris Lushington and I were mugged for our pocket money by some Stamford boys who probably felt they were owed reparations. I’m sure they’re gone by now.
