Too Adirondacky for the broad Greenwich market?

Unless there are contract negotiations being conducted as I write, and there very well may be, I’m a bit surprised that 67 Londonderry Drive, asking $2.495 million, is still on the market after 54 days. It’s definitely “rustic”, but it has great views of the Burning Tree golf course, and it’s in good shape; the late owner was a very successful lawyer (and avid bird hunter, which may explain the woodsy touch) and he obviously spent the money to keep the house maintained and up-to-date. At this price, which is probably negotiable by now, it strikes me as an attractive possibility for a buyer in the low $2 million range.

If, that is, you don’t insist on the Bloomingdale/black trim look that’s so popular these days.

Not a fan of this shingle feature, but it could be changed without too much difficulty
