Well there is life in the upper range after all

10 Barnstable Lane, asking $4.125 million, reports a contract. It probably won't have broken the $4 barrier when it closes, but even high $3 sales have been mostly absent this fall, so this should offer owners of houses in this range some encouragement. Of course, it started at $5.350 million so don't take that much encouragement.

There was a discussion here of this property when it dropped to this price back in September, and just about every comment was favorable. Nice house, it was just at the wrong price for awhile.
