It was renovated after being purchased for $1.6 back in 2014, but its location, pressed against the Merritt Parkway, couldn't be changed, and I thought it would take longer to sell than the year-and-a-half that it has. Of course, that $2.595 price represents quite a reduction from the $3.495 originally asked, but still ...

Just to illustrate the cruelties of the real estate business, agent Barbara Wells had this listing for almost its entire life, nursing it as it slowly declined in price but got nowhere. The owners switched to Steve Archino 63 days ago and voila! A contract. Steve is a great guy, and an excellent agent, but he's also a lucky one, which is an essential part of life.
