One of two houses: 25-27 Tomac Avenue

25-27 Tomac Avenue, two separate houses on a single one-acre lot, reports a pending sale. Asking price was $2.1 million.

I'll have to call listing agent Steve Archino to get the story on this property: its price would indicate that the lot can't be subdivided, though on its face I can't see why not. Is someone buying it to have two legal (grandfathered) residences here? My guess is no: two 1915 cottages don't seem to be the highest and best use of this property. A huge house on a full acre? Maybe.
