2 Windrose Way, in Mead Point, reports a contract

Its last asking price was $5.995 million, down substantially from its 2011 start at $11.2. Not a house to my taste, but it's certainly large, and Mead Point's one of the best of our gated neighborhoods. I, along with many other agents, I'm sure, had clients interested in this property before, but between the high price and the messy financial situation: lis pendens, foreclosures, scheduled auctions, it was impossible to get anywhere.

The financial stuff was cleared up some time ago, and I guess that freed the owners to accept a more reasonable price.
