636 Riversville Road has cut its price again, to $4.595 million. That's a big cut from its original 2010 price of $7.590, and perilously close to the $3.995 these owners paid for it in 2004, considering the huge amount of money that's gone into it since in expansion and renovation. Does the ground-floor master hurt its chances? Maybe the buyer for a 9,000 sq.ft. house is a family, perhaps a family home needs a master on the same floor as the children's rooms. I'm just guessing at that, but there's something odd about this beautiful house refusing to sell all these years.

I'll note, just to be a little bit mean, that that $3.995 purchase in 2004 was full asking price, made after the property had been on the market just four days, and paid by this owner, an experienced real estate agent. A lawyer who represents himself ....
