"If I owned Texas and Hell, I'd rent out Texas and live in Hell" Gen. Phil Sheridan
/Looks like Little Phil's advice is still sound, for 18 Pinecroft has given up on finding a buyer for now and has once again been rented, this time for $20,000, instead of the $30,000 it had been collecting. Still nice money, but the trend must be discouraging for the owner, who bought this Alamo replica new in 2004 for $6.5 million and has been trying to sell it for a number of years now, beginning at $7.250 and eventually dropping as low as $5.5. Which still didn't do it; we'll see where it starts after this lease expires.
I've always thought this was a nice house, or at least a decent example of this style of spec builder design circa 2000, but that's the interior; the exterior is pretty odd for quaint old New England.
