"If I owned Texas and Hell, I'd rent out Texas and live in Hell" Gen. Phil Sheridan

18 Pinecroft

18 Pinecroft

Looks like Little Phil's advice is still sound, for 18 Pinecroft has given up on finding a buyer for now and has once again been rented, this time for $20,000, instead of the $30,000 it had been collecting. Still nice money, but the trend must be discouraging for the owner, who bought this Alamo replica new in 2004 for $6.5 million and has been trying to sell it for a number of years now, beginning at $7.250 and eventually dropping as low as $5.5. Which still didn't do it; we'll see where it starts after this lease expires.

I've always thought this was a nice house, or at least a decent example of this style of spec builder design circa 2000, but that's the interior; the exterior is pretty odd for quaint old New England.
