Not much real estate news reported today, but 10 Irvine Road, Old Greenwich, reports a contract - asking price, $1,995, 520. it's a 1928 home on 0.15 acre claiming 2,700 sq. ft. with six bedrooms (!)  and no garage - but it does include a "shack", so there's that going for it. Seller/builder/attorney Peter Thalheim bought it in foreclosure for $1,000,000 last year, and Peter does a perfectly competent job on these projects, so I'm sure it's fine, but for $2 million, I'd want a garage.
