Price cut on Stanwich

180 Stanwich, cut to $2.295 million. It sold for $2.6 million back in 2005 and at the time, I wrote that it was a beautiful, older home  that would, sadly, probably be torn down. I was wrong: it sold  in just a few days to these sellers, who obviously loved it just the way it was. 

And I still like it: if memory serves, some of its rooms are smallish, and it suffers from the dreaded "low ceiling" syndrome, and the detached garage is never popular, but almost none of that (except the ceiling heigh, I suppose) can't be modernized. It sits on 2 acres of beautiful yard, is close to town, and must surely be approaching mere land value now - another "free house".
