Personally, I wouldn't have moved in this direction
/124 Porchuck Road, which failed to sell last year at $2.995 million, has been reintroduced to the market at $3.250. There must be something about this 1986 house that, while eluding me, convinces its owners that it's worth more than its location and design would suggest.
The previous owners listed it at $3.750 million in 2007, ended up renting it out instead of selling it, then brought it back at $2.995 in 2014 and sold it for $1.850. Renovations were made, and it was re-listed by the buyers last year at $2.995, without result. Why the increase now to $3.250? Darned if I know - the market for homes out in our northwest hasn't strengthened since November, when the previous listing expired; maybe some special sauce has been added, or something.
