New York City is scrapping its literacy test for teachers because too many black and Hispanic candidates are failing.

At some point, maybe, objective minds will look at the damage 60 years of compassionate liberalism has wreaked on the poor, and ask what exactly was compassionate about any of it.

That reassessment almost certainly won't happen during my lifetime, though. The narrative still rules.
