Short sale

4 Interlaken reports a contingent contract - asking price $1.495 million. You can never really tell with a short sale whether a lender's accepted a particular price until, of course, it's reported as sold, but if someone is actually getting this house for anything close to its asking price, they're getting a great deal. It sold for $2.225 million back in 2005 and even adjusting for price declines since those heady days, $1.5ish would be a bargain. Nice house.
