And speaking of 2012 listings still hanging around ...
/17 Ivanhoe Lane has cut its price to $3.675 million, down, at least a bit, from the $4.295 it first asked for in 2012. A pretty nice house, albeit one without a real back yard, and a hill for the front, but there must be something about its charms that appeals to its owners but eludes buyers. Back in 2005, it listed at $4.895, which was ridiculous, and finally sold to these owners in 2007 for $3.5 million. They then repeated the process five years later.
All that said, Ivanhoe is a nice street, except for its silly name, in a location convenient to town, in a good school district, and the house itself attractive enough that at some price, it's going to be a decent buy. Who knows? This might even be that price.
