That proved optimistic. While an insane price is certainly sufficient unto itself to delay a sale, the location of this place couldn't have helped.
(UPDATE) Turns out Ogilvy sold these chumps his own listing for $6 million back in '06 and apparently they intended to build a spec house and make some money. They stopped paying on their $5 million note back in 2014, and when the lender began foreclosure proceedings, they got a bit more realistic. "Depend on it, Sir, when a man knows he is to be hanged in a fortnight, it concentrates his mind wonderfully."
