Price cut after just 14 days - smart
/Why screw around? 180 Park Avenue (the Greenwich, not Old Greenwich Park Ave. And not the NYC one, either, for that matter), from $4.495 million to $4.250. Built as a spec project back in 2008 and priced then at $4.850, it's never found a buyer, which has alway puzzled me: very attractive home, built to a high level of quality, on a great street close to town. I can't remember why my own clients passed on it back in 2011 or so, but they obviously weren't alone in rejecting it.
Which, as I say, puzzles me — even the price seems right, to me. Some houses are just like that, either selling quickly when I can't imagine what people see in them or, as in this case, why they don't.
