Long time readers of this blog may remember the unlamented troll, Greenwich Democrat Dollar Bill, who insisted on referring to Tea Party supporters as "Tea Baggers", and he wasn't alone; that was the knee-jerk term vomited by the entire Left because they thought conservatives would be hurt if they were accused of engaging in a particular act performed by homosexuals.

Never mind that CBS has now sunk to a level of coarseness that would have been unimaginable a few years ago, it's Colbert's use of a homophobic slur that's the more telling indication of the Left's bankruptcy. Nothing new here: Condoleezza Rice was called Bush's whore, Clarence Thomas a house nigger, and the current Trump Derangement Syndrome has brought out every Leftist misogynist, racist and even child abusers, but they do seem to be racing each other to the bottom (not meant in a homophobic sense, of course) at an accelerating pace.
