/Reader Jason sends long this real estate boast page? - something - describing a home in Wappingers' Falls owned by " a money manager and his philanthropic/socialite wife". That description is a phony as the home's own description, but never mind; it strikes me that the money manager's theft of $5,000 will hardly be enough to maintain this crumbling old place. Seems like a futile gesture, but perhaps they need gas money. I'm informed that they're also trying to rent a 2-bedroom cottage on the grounds for $2,800, so the check heist would have netted Jon almost two month of that.
The few interior shots, by the way, illustrate why one should never allow a former trailer trash hairdresser from Alabama to decorate her own house: bless her heart, she just doesn't know better.
