And another one bites the dust
/The foreclosure is finally complete, and 44 Close Road has been returned to the market at $4.770 million. The place was originally built for Tommy Hilfiger back in 2002-2003 but he changed his mind, and never moved in. In 2005 a fellow named Stephen Braverman paid $9.950 for it but ran into trouble when he couldn't afford both this one and his bizarre house at 1038 Lake (we had a lot of fun here with the Lake Avenue house, what with its Diamond and Barata interior decoration job). I'm not sure whether Braverman ever moved into 44 Close — it may have stayed vacant (but heated) all this time.
Nice house, as you'd expect if it were built for Hilfiger, but Close Road's pretty far out there.
