Land contract on Round Hill?

121 Round Hill Road, 2 acres in the R-2 zone and last asking $1.695 million (it hoped for $1.995 million 522 days ago), reports a contract. It's a 1927 structure, and surely served its owners well over the past 40 years, but I'm guessing its days are numbered.

Not so long ago, a two-acre building lot on lower Round Hill might have fetched a price in the low $2s, which explains this one's original price, but apparently the street's seeing a decline.

The town's valuation of the property, land and building, is $2,372.500, so assuming a final sale price of, say, $1.5 million, the new owner may have some meaty weight to toss at the Appeals Board.
