North Street contract

474 North Street, asking $2..675 million, reports a contract. The house has been on and off the market for 8 years or so, beginning at $5.495 and dropping as low as $2.595 as recently as June, 2018; not sure why its new agent priced it at $2.675 last month, but a buyer has appeared, so apparently the price hike worked.

But we’ll have to wait to see what the final sales price turns out to be; I viewed this house with clients back when it was in, I think, the mid-threes, and while we made several visits, it remained in the same condition: ridden hard and put away wet, so we passed. Divorce, rentals and foreclosure will do that.

I’d be surprised if it goes for much above $2.2.
