282 Taconic Road has cut its price, to $2.950 million. It’s been on the market since September, 2015, when it started at $3.895, and still has a long way to go.

It’s a pleasant house inside — a good friend of mine lived there once, and dodged a bullet by selling it for $3 back in 2004, but the house sits sideways in a swamp and is located waaaay up Taconic, a full day’s journey from town. And those pillars!

Lucky if the final number begins with a two, is my opinion.
