They've got the Orange, they've got the Zebra, but still no sale. Could it be the price?

After holding fast for almost two years at $9.975 million the owners of 7 Topping Road finally blinked and dropped the price today to $8.795 million. You can’t blame them for their steadfastness, really, because the same tactic almost worked in 2013-2014, when they kept their price firm at $10.750 and actually had a deal pending in late 2014. That deal fell apart, but the memory obviously lingers on.

Of course, what may still be missing, besides a proper price, is one of those freestanding mirrors that get propped up against bedroom walls in so many of our listings.
