COVID Madness?

21 Byfield Lane is new to the market today and asking $3.5 million. This 1961 home is a lot nicer inside than its exterior would suggest — it had better be — and it’s sold well in the past at what were to me surprising prices: $2.650 in 2010 and $2.8 in 2015. But have there been $700,000 in improvements put into it in the past five years? No.

Will a desperate New Yorkw fall for that? I have my doubts, because I think there are better values out there in this price range, but as always, it’s not my opinion that counts but the buyer’s. So we’ll see.

All the same, I’d have at least expected them to have put in a pool for that extra seven-hundred-thousand.
