It's all a warmup for the coming Global Warming totalitarian state

As predicted here and across the conservative blogosphere, COVID has given authoritarians a perfect proof of concept lab to test how far they can use a self-declared crisis to panic and squish the masses into an oleaginous mass of obedient servants. Australia has pushed the envelope on this (in First World countries — Third Wold shit holes like the Philippines had less distance to travel), but when you see how far they’ve come in less than two years, it’s not hard to imagine what they’ll be able to accomplish with the global warming weapon; after all, they’ve had decades to indoctrinate and instill terror in our school children, many of whom are now semi-functioning but voting adults.
Fauci’s call for submission to the “greater good”, as defined by the government, is based on an amorphous plan [sic] to control a disease that has killed all of two-tenths of one percent of the country’s population. What tyranny will our lords and masters impose to save the entire world from global warming, a coming disaster that will cause the total destruction of the world by (latest deadline) 2035?
Limits on how far we can travel from our homes (whether imposed by fiat or forcing everyone into battery cars with limited range or, down the road, so to speak, confiscation of private citizens’ cars — those citizens who aren’t members of the nomenklatura, of course —, how cool, and warm, we can keep those homes, what days of the month, if any, we’ll be allowed to eat meat — the list is endless, because the quest for power and control is endless.
My prediction: within five years, probably less, Warmist Karens will be vandalizing cars powered by internal combustion engines with twice the fervor they did cars bearing Trump stickers, and confronting their drives, maskless or not. That’ll be just the first signal of how ugly this is going to get.
