How many houses have sold at-or-above ask this year? Gideon has the answer

Listening to his WGCH radio show just now, I heard him give that number, as supplied by Hooligans & Lawyers manager David Huffenpuffer:

Of 852 sales (a very large number, much higher than that of recent years), 341 — 40% have hit that threshold.

And, the inventory of mid-country homes in the $3-$5 million range has dropped from 35 last year to 16 now.

I don’t blame the listing agents for underpricing their properties, by the way, but attribute the phenomenon to this crazy COVID market. The upcoming recession should brig things back down, soon.
