Chris Murphy addresses the Wall Street Journal’s report that his administration is in talks to pay illegal immigrants $450,000 in reparations:

“This isn’t true,” Murphy tweeted to his 1 million followers. “It’s made up. Just plain made up. But @tedcruz has a big following and so when he says things people believe him.”

But in fact, Murphy’s betters have already established what they are; now they’re just negotiating price. The White House is “perfectly comfortable” paying the illegals off, spokesman admits. “We have no idea what Murphy’s denial says about him”, sources told FWIW”, except that he’s been spending too much time playing in the basement with Joe and his blocks”.
