More than I'd guessed
/10 Parsonage Lane has closed at $2.8 million. 3.7 acres, some of it under a pond*, in the R-1 zone, and close to town: it will make a great building site.
When it hit the market in October 2019 at $3.5, I predicted it would sell for about $2.5. We did have the COVID market spring up a year afterward, and that’s made a difference, but still, a nice sale.
Not that nice, though: the sellers paid $3.280 for it in 2004.
*To my taste, that’s a feature, not a drawback. I’d rather have a pond to look at and row a little boat on than an extra swath of fescue. You get the same space from neighbors, and besides, you can’t stock a lawn.
