Quick contract on Will Merry Lane

42 Will Merry was listed at $3.295 million on January 15 and has gone to contract. Tht’’s quite a contrast to its last sale in 2012, when it started at $2.850 and sold for $1.990 434 days later.

This house I on the non-Merritt side of Will Merry, and when I last toured it I found the noise barely perceptible. Quite a nice house even back then, and these owners have obviously spruced it up and refreshed it.

Still, I think its quick sale is an indication of how strong the market is today compared to the 2012 market, which was in the doldrums.

while i’ve long recommended using The orange to brighten up a house, i never intended to be taken literally. still, it seems to have worked out
