Contract in Shorelands
/11 Greenwich Cove Drive, $1.825 million, 13 days. The owners listed it in May 2019 at $1.795 and it dropped to $1.695 by that September, when the owners gave up and rented it out instead. Listing agent Liz Dagnino brought it back with an extra $130,000 tacked on to that unsuccessful 2019 price, and, thanks to our Chinese Flu market, it worked.
I showed this house several times back in 2007, when it was a rather tired 1956 specimen of the spec builder’s craft and my buyers wouldn’t bite, though it did finally sell that year for $1.760. The current owners did a decent job of renovating it in 2010, and though you can only do so much with a house from this era, it’s much more attractive this time around.
