Don't tell the Kayes
/All (7?) of the kids, including Joel, Jeremy and Jevera grew up on Sunshine Avenue, with all but the two boys surviving without noticeable ill effect (sharing a single cot in the attic can work a profound personality change, not always for the good), and I’m sure they were fond of the street, but 20 Sunshine going under contract while asking $1.550 million must come as a surprise. Or it surprises me, anyway.
The best thing about this market, for agents, is that we can “earn” our commission — in this case, $77,500 — with just about no effort. This place wouldn’t sell in 2016, or ‘17 at prices ranging from $1.599 to $1.450, but these days, the agent need only bring her Instamatic over for a quick run-through, post the results on the Internet, sit back and wait a few days, and pow! Easier than hooking an Asian Carp.
What a great time to be alive.
