Midgets vs drug dealers in Manhattan
/A pair of thieves in a Mercedes Benz swiped a Richard Mille watch and other pricey jewels — worth more than $4 million in total — from people who had just left Manhattan hotspots, cops said Thursday.
Cops are now hunting for the duo in a pair of incidents earlier this month — the first on Aug. 14, when two men were robbed after they left TAO Downtown around 4:20 a.m. and walked to West 30th Street and Broadway.
One of the alleged robbers displayed a black handgun as the suspects swiped multiple pieces of jewelry from the men, ages 47 and 27, cops said.
From the older victim alone, they stole a Richard Mille watch, multiple chains, necklaces and rings worth about $4 million in total, police said.
…. [The crime wave continued]
Cops are still looking for both suspects.
One is described as a man with a dark complexion, about 5 feet tall and 140 pounds.
The other suspect had a medium complexion, and was around 5-foot-2 and 140 pounds, police said.
If these gentlemen are ever re-blinged, or if the thieves didn’t steal all their worldly goods, i wish they’d contact me — I’m sure I can find them some nice, splashy homes in the round Hill area, even at COVID prices.
As an aside, I’d never focused on exactly how much money our underprivileged are pulling in down in upper Manhattan, and the cash they have available for stupid purchases; I shall adjust my marketing accordingly.
*I am, perhaps unfairly, assuming the victims were not some of the Greenwich hedgies we see poolside at our lesser clubs — I could be wrong.
