Changed their mind
/After paying $1.150 million for it last April, the owners of a building lot at 7 Cherry Blossom Lane have returned it to the market at $1.375 million.
Well, maybe. This lot was part of the failed “Antares Mansion Group” project back in the boom days, a “group” that did manage to build and sell one house to a sucker in 2007 for $10,750 (it resold in 2016 for $7.1), but that was about it. The Antares Boyz are gone, but the end remains. This particular lot was listed at $1.395 from 2014 until, as noted, it sold to these owners in 2021. May they have greater success this time.
And who knows? They may have put in a helicopter landing pad during their brief tenure. Otherwise, I’m sure the listing wouldn’t claim that it was “just 35 minutes from New York”. That could be a real selling point, and one that would distinguish it from every other property in Greenwich, which tend to be located farther from the city.
