Foreclosed on King Street

Five years after the process began, 1375 King Street has been foreclosed on, the now-former owner and her family ejected, and the house is on the market for $1.189 million. It’s a post and beam house built in 1772 and still retains 3.24 acres of its original land. Unfortunately, there have been a lot of structural changes made during the past 250 years, and the airport and i-684 have both expanded and become much busier in that same period, but this would still be a fascinating rehabilitation project, and I hope someone takes it on.

As an aside, and with all due sympathy for the debtor and her adult children who lived with her here, it shouldn’t take five years to foreclose a debt when no payments are being made and no defense to the debt exists.
