Well, if we don't catch them, they don't count, right?

In addition to the 2,000,000 illegal aliens we stop at the border briefly before setting them loose to roam around the country, 600,000 “gotaways” also crossed over this year.

These numbers represent those migrants who have been observed on cameras or detected via sensors, footprints, or other means, but were never apprehended because of a lack of manpower.

In total, that makes for nearly 1 million gotaways at the southern border since the beginning of FY2021.

Far fewer gotaways came through before then. According to former U.S. Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott, who served in office under former President Donald Trump and President Biden, Fiscal Year 2020 saw only 69,000 gotaways.

Is it unfair to point out that drug smugglers and terrorists are better at avoiding detection than ordinary economic migrants? So how of those are coming in? How many human smugglers? And how many are coming in from the longest undefended border in the world, between Canada and the U.S.?

None, of course, because we’ve been assured that our borders are secure.
