The "Bermuda House", as "reimagined" sells again, this time for a tidy profit

The house at 504 North Street was purchased for $3.5 million in 2004, razed, and replaced by a new house whose builder priced it at $12.960 in 2008. His expectations were dashed by the ‘08 crash, however, and, prodded by his foreclosing lender, he sold it for $5.8 in 2013.

Those buyers, in turn, did some sprucing up and resold in June ‘21 for $6.1 million. And now, having been, as the listing says, “reimagined”, it has sold for $8.3.

I always wondered where that $12.960 number came from.
