For the first time since I was a mush-brained, 15-year-old liberal, I've found a union picket line I'm delighted to honor
/New York Times union calls on readers to join ‘digital picket line’ as strike begins
A rally led by Nikole Hannah-Jones is expected outside the Times offices during the walkout on Thursday
It’s been almost that long since I stopped reading American Pravda, but still, I’m all in for this.
UPDATE: Reading beyond the headline, I found this:
"We’re asking readers to not engage in any @nytimes platforms tomorrow and stand with us on the digital picket line! Read local news. Listen to public radio. Make something from a cookbook. Break your Wordle streak," Hess tweeted.
While I agree with Miss Hess that Times readers will notice absolutely no difference in their “news” content if they switch to NPR, does she know that Wordle is owned by the NYT?
