Those Stamford condos on Havemeyer Lane have done well
/77 Havemeyer Lane #309 was listed at $679,000 and has gone to contract after 35 days — given the lag time for mortgage approval these days, it probably had a deal within just a few days; the owners bought it almost-new in 2012 for $485,000. so 40% appreciation; not bad. I had a number of friends who downsized here back in 2010-2012, and, touring some of the units, I thought my friends had done well. I guess they did.
In comparison, Putnam Hill Unit 3G is listed for $650,000, just 18% above the $550,000 the owner paid in 2011, and it just took a price cut today: it started at $765,000, but that was obviously not going to happen.
