Attention, SPOQIS! We’ve been vindicated (or the world has gone to Hell in a hand basket, or both)
/15 Reynwood Manner has sold for $6.7 million. I believe it started at something like $18 or $22 million long, long ago, but its most recent appearance on the market began in 2017 at $9.250.
The post linked to above was written three years ago January, 2019. At that time, I gently suggested that despite its drop to $8.995, the building remained overpriced, and that comment was eventually discovered by a Mark J. MacDonald a few years later and drew this dyspeptic reply. MacDonald called at least some of us here “Snotty Philistines of Questionable Intelligence” from which reader “Anton Fitch” “Hmmm” coined the acronym “SPOQI”. We’re grateful to both Hmmm and Mr. MacDonald for their combined efforts to make this blog entertaining despite its focus on dull-as-ditchwater real estate.
I imagine you think yourself clever, Chris. You’re not. You're simply limited. Clearly, you enjoy the bitchy bully pulpit you share with your fellow snotty Philistines of questionable intelligence far more than you do any appreciation of Art or History.
Approach aside, Reynwood Manor is an architectural masterpiece, which, at the direction and artistic talents of the right people, could render whatever it is you live in as a Siberian animal hospice by comparison. Have a bit of class and be silent about things you’ll never understand.
