It’s a perfectly nice house, and I could see its appeal to a young family hoping to get into Greenwich, but new houses in this neighborhood have been commanding some impressive prices, so it may be a builder who’s snatched it up. A six-day period between listing and contract, especially when you factor in a four-five day wait for the lawyers to draw up and negotiate a contract acceptable to both parties, suggests a bidding war that started the first day, so we’ll have to wait to see who won out, and at what price.
