The enemies of our country aren't slowing one bit

Biden administration is halting all offshore oil and gas drilling leases effective June 1.

They made no announcement of this continued effort to dismantle the American fossil fuel industry; it was buried on page 201 of the administration’s 208 budget proposal submitted to Congress. While that budget itself may be changed, and probably will, no new leases can be made without a new five-year leasing plan required by existing law, and Biden has no intention of drafting one.

The Greens and their stooge obviously hoped to hide their (in) action from the public, but the consequences will soon be readily apparent.

On Tuesday, NOIA and the American Petroleum Institute published a report examining the consequences of the Biden administration not issuing a replacement plan. The report concluded that U.S. oil production would decline by roughly 500,000 barrels per day and more than 57,000 energy industry jobs would be lost.

I imagine that the oil company orgs are being a bit historonic here, at least to the extent that they’re predicting an immediate effect on supply — it can take years to explore, find, drill, and then produce oil, but if the process never starts, it willl never yield oil, and that’s the Greens’ intent.
