California gas prices near $6, with more to come, all across the country. There may be a silver lining here.
If the cost of fighting climate change is only an additional $1 a month, 57 percent of Americans said they would support that. But as that fee goes up, support for it plummets. At $10 a month, 39 percent were in favor and 61 percent opposed. At $20 a month, the public is more than 2-to-1 against it. And only 1-in-5 would support $50 a month.
Six years ago, a majority of Americans were blissfully ignorant of how much they were already paying for the Green Agenda, mostly because much of the cost was hidden in regulatory constraints and mandates on manufacturers and retailers. But gasoline and heating costs hit them directly, so when their fuel oil and gasoline bills treble, they’ll notice. The Greens and the Democrats intend to force citizens to pay the tens of thousands of dollars the ever-more-stringent regulations and laws will cost, but maybe those same citizens will refuse to go along.
Brainwashing requires a number of things: the indoctrination in schools and by the media is essential, but so is compliance. You start with trivial acts, like forcing people to wear useless face masks, go further, and lock them in their homes and close their businesses, and then move on to forced vaccinations of untested drugs, but all of these methods, successful in the beginning, are now being resisted and even rebelled against.
Will an extra $500 month yanked from their wallets every month inspire them to dump the Green Totalitarians? Maybe, but at least the dollar-a-month yokels won’t be able to say that they didn’t see it coming.
