Who needs reporters? Not Greenwich Time, it's got robots!
/Four-bedroom home sells for $380,000 in Riverside
United Robots
A human being familiar with Greenwich real estate would immediately spot this as an improbable price, at least so far as it implied a sale between unrelated parties, but robots aren’t great thinkers (okay, that’s true of some real estate agents, too, but …)
Anyway, of course it was an interfamily transaction, and the title did indeed pass from both owners to one for $380,000, but the couple paid $1.075 for it in 2012, and it’s probably in, roughly, the $1.450 range today.
So don’t call your kid in the City and tell her that there are suddenly bargains available in Riverside, or she’ll be disappointed.
