To begin with, Jill Biden, a biological female, was officially named the ship’s sponsor, “a role meant to bring a vessel luck” What??? That’s a classic case of objectification, reducing a womxn’s role to that of a mere good luck mascot, a token. Why wasn’t Doctor Jill appointed master and commander and chief physician, rather than the ship’s official leprechaun? Phaa!
Things only got worse:
During her remarks, she exclaimed: “Officers and crew of the USS Delaware, man our ship and bring her to life.” The crew responded, “Aye aye, ma’am” and, as she applauded, sailors in dress uniforms ran behind the crowd, then down onto the submarine and lined up on the deck.
“Man our ships”? “Aye aye, ma’am”? Everyone knows that the submarine was deliberately designed by white, male cisgenders as a looong, cylindrical phallis in order to intimidate and subjugate womix and LGBTXYZQ+ers, but to witness this oppression on a modern ship in our supposedly modern Navy is, quite frankly, appalling.
The entire day went like that, but let’s just skip to the conclusion, where some person in a uniform addresses those assembled as “ladies and gentlemen”, making no attempt whatsoever to include all who were there. And no one raised xis’ voice in protest.
We can excuse the First Vegetable for not noticing and objecting to this entire ceremony (and for obediently looking for a seat, when the rest of the audience is instructed to sit down while the President leaves the ship) because it’s obvious that ni* didn’t even know that ni was at a ceremony, but surely we could expect more from Edith. She dragged xr’s poor husband into this 4-year humiliation because xer wanted to run the country; well then do it, you ditzy broad.

UPDATE: Oh, dear — there’s more video from that same event. I realize that that portion of our citizenry that gets its news from corporate media isn’t seeing these tapes, but surely even some Democrat pols must be growing concerned.
