Looks like a winner to me

Coming soon — probably Thursday — 26 Marshall Street in Havemeyer, $1.250 million. It’s neat, clean, in an excellent neighborhood, and has a decent backyard. It wasn’t that long ago that I’d have described a $1.250 price for this house as “aspirational”, but in view of the price appreciation in Havemeyer over the past 5 years, I think this is well-priced for a starter home.

I hope a builder doesn’t grab it.
