I told you that the rest of Connecticut hates Greenwich: here it comes

The Hartford Avengers are on their way

State Attorney General announces he’s opening an investigation into Greenwich’s hiring practices.

He said his office planned to conduct a thorough investigation, and review and analyze all the evidence. He said although that would not happen overnight, they would get to the bottom of the incident and hold accountable anyone engaged in actionable misconduct.

And grab ahold of your wallet:

If anyone believes they have been the victim of discrimination—at Cos Cob School or elsewhere Tong said he wanted to know. Anyone can report to him via dir.ct.gov/ag/complaint or by calling 860-808-5410.

The aggrieved won’t just be calling the Attorney General; they’ll be dialing for dollars to the class action lawyers who are probably already drafting their ads and mass mailings.

UPDATE: GT has the same story, but with additional details, including this tidbit:

Separately, the Department of Education is investigating whether Boland violated any state laws or regulations. If he did, his certification could be suspended or revoked, said department spokesperson Eric Scoville.
